RECORDING THE NEXT ALBUM

Just a quick update to say we've been busy recording the last couple of weeks and now have a bunch of songs laid down on tape that will make up the next album. The tracks still need some mixing and a release could be a long way off yet but once we get some mixes completed (some time in September) we will put some tracks up for you to check out on our myspace page. Anybody who saw us play at The Old Blue Last or our last minute set at the Truck Festival will have some idea what to expect from the new songs.

LIVE IN BRIGHTON, NOT LIVE IN SHREWSBURY

Don't forget we're back in Brighton on 13th September at The Hobgoblin. It's FREE and we'll play a lot of the new album tracks so don't miss it! Also please note we've discovered the Shrewsbury "FromHelll Fest" has been cancelled so we won't be playing unfortunately.

FLIGHT OF THE RAVEN OUT NOW IN AUSTRALIA!

Flight Of The Raven is out now through Impedance Records/Amphead. The Australian release also includes an exclusive bonus DVD with live footage and music videos. We will be touring Australia for the first time in May, dates are on the tour page.

Before we go to Australia we're headlining an all dayer at THE GLEBE, STOKE ON TRENT, on Saturday 5th April. We'll be playing new and old classics so be there! Info at http://www.myspace.com/wrongpoppresent

WINNEBAGO DEAL LIVE IN KINGSTON!

THE DRESDENS REVOLUTION

The Dresdens (Ben Perrier/Ben Thomas/Jack Golstein) debut album will be released this year on Deck Cheese Records. It was recorded last year and has been mastered by Dave Gardner (Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes). We've been getting radio play on Mike Davies' BBC Punk Show and will be recording a live session in March but before then we'll be playing shows with GBH and others, check www.myspace.com/dresdensband for more info.

ROAD TO NOWHERE OUT NOW!

Check out the Road To Nowhere compilation cd which is out now. It features a previously unreleased version of "Venomized" as well as tracks from Brant Bjork, Mondo Generator, Dwarves, Fu Manchu and more. More info can be found at www.poisontreerecords.com

The Truck Festival was rained off in July but the good news is it's now happening on the weekend of 22nd-23rd September. We play Sunday 23rd on The Barn Stage at around 7:20pm. We were asked by the organisers to record an early Winnebago Deal song called "Monster Truck" for this years' Truck compilation CD, so we tried to remember it and recorded it a while back. The track is on the CD "Truck 10". Info on where to buy it can be found at www.thisistruck.com

HUEY LEWIS

We recorded a version of Huey Lewis & The News' track "Working For A Living" earlier this year for a tribute CD entitled "Are You Still With Me?". The CD is still being compiled and won't be out until 2008 but you can hear our track at www.myspace.com/areyoustillwithme. Our track has the seal of approval of Johnny Colla, the News' guitar & saxophone player so it must be good.

ROAD TO NOWHERE

A pre-"Flight Of The Raven" unreleased version of the track "Venomized" will be released in September on a compilation called "Road To Nowhere" on Poison Tree Records. Other bands on the compilation included Mondo Generator (with a track we played on), Brant Bjork & The Bros, Fu Manchu, Dwarves etc so check it out!
